A Forgotten Vessel in Gibraltar’s Marina
One of my first watercolors after a long break due to professional commitments. While walking through the Gibraltar Marina, I was immediately drawn to this old, semi-abandoned fishing boat. Weathered by time and the elements, its rust and wear gave it a unique personality—a visual story waiting to be painted.
I’ve always found aged objects more artistically compelling than pristine ones. Their imperfections tell tales of use, history, and resilience. This piece remains one of my favorites, even after all these years, reminding me of how my artistic journey began again.

Final Notes / Artist’s Reflection
Not all artworks age well, but this one continues to resonate with me. It marks the beginning of a new artistic stage, one that I didn’t know at the time would continue evolving to this day. Revisiting this painting now feels like opening a time capsule—raw, honest, and nostalgic.
